The school’s Chess team is the top in the country.

The Debate team is top in the district, and had the longest winning streak in last year’s league for the Global Foundation for Public Speaking.

The school is the top school in the province when it comes to Public Speaking.

Six girls travelled to Falcon College for the annual Falcon Cultural Weekend, a festival dedicated to celebrating vocal, instrumental, dramatic, visual and literary art and dance.

For the first time in over 25 years, the Miss Convent pageant was held at the school. The event was organized by a committee headed by Dominique Middlemas, and its teacher-in-charge was Mrs Purse. The pageant was vibrant and excellently-organized, and included a celebrity panel, a performance by internationally-renowned, Zimbabwean musician Ammara Brown, as well as lighting and a sound system from ZiFM Stereo. Davisha Chapfika from the primary school was crowned Miss Convent (Junior), Ruvarashe Katsamba was crowned Miss Convent (Senior), Shannon Goneso was crowned First Princess, and Chanice Noble and Carla Bezhuidenot were each crowned Second Princess. The following ladies were also given awards for displaying excellence in these respective categories:

Intellect Supreme: Vanessa Shumba, Mazvita V. Mavhaire, Kuzivashe Phoebe Makunyana, Ruvarashe Katsamba

Queen and Talent Supreme: Chelsea Mujuru

Beauty Supreme: Davisha Chapfika and Ruvarashe Katsamba
