Open Days

The Dominican Convent warmly welcomes prospective students and parents to its Open Days. These are an opportunity for future students and parents to have a tour and an experience of what we have to offer as a school. Our Open Days are held in September each year, and applicants are encouraged to attend in their Grade Six year. It is an occasion to meet the Headmistress, ask questions about the school and students are better prepared for a high school experience. We encourage parents to do preparatory work in advance, in terms of information required, so that you leave the school with a full understanding of the Dominican Convent culture.

Our Mission

The Dominican Convent, following a tradition that dates back to St Dominic, who desired the salvation of all people, is committed to the education and development of the whole person, spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, physically, morally and socially.

Our Vision

To be the leading multi-cultural Catholic Girls’ school in the region that offers a sound holistic education and a first-rate operational climate for pupils, staff and parents in an environmentally friendly atmosphere.
