From 10 to 12 September, the school’s Model United Nations (MUN) Society participated in the SJCMUN Conference, hosted by St John’s College. The conference was held under the theme, “The Weight of Precedent: Reconciling Historical Injustices with the Imperatives of Sustainable Development. ”Throughout the conference, delegates engaged in thought-provoking discussions on pressing global issues, including historical atrocities, industrialisation and the use of child soldiers. The school’s chess teams put in an impressive performance at the St George’s Chess Tournament. The Junior A team emerged victorious, securing first place and gold medals, while the Junior B team finished in eighth position out of 13 participating schools. In the senior division, the Senior A team also claimed first place and won gold medals. The Senior B team finished sixth. Despite competing with an incomplete team, they showed great determination throughout the tournament.
