A Symphony of Success: Convent’s Outstanding Eisteddfod Results!

Our Convent ladies continue to raise the bar, delivering outstanding performances at this year’s Eisteddfod competitions. With each passing day, their dedication, talent, and passion for music are reflected in an ever-growing list of achievements and we are proud to share just a glimpse of their success so far.

On Monday the 16th, our learners reached an exceptional milestone, earning an impressive 8 Honours, 1 Distinction, and 1 Commended. These results are a testament not only to their vocal ability, but also to the discipline and commitment they bring to their craft.

A particularly historic highlight came from Ngaafare Mugadza, who achieved Honours in the Western Section—a rare and prestigious accomplishment that marks a significant moment for the school.

• Mirabelle Mugandani – Vocal Solo (African Contemporary): 94% Honours Outstanding 

• Anotida Chigwanha (Form 1) – Vocal Solo (African Religious): 94% Honours Outstanding 

• Kaia Chindeka (Form 6) – Vocal Solo (African Religious): 96% Honours Exceptional 

• Princess Chabaya (Form 2) – Vocal Solo (African Religious): 97% Honours Exceptional 

• Natania Mumbure (Form 4) – Vocal Solo (African Contemporary): 98% Honours Exceptional
